The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim did their best Los Angeles Dodgers impression Thursday morning signing top free agent, outfielder Josh Hamilton to a 5 year $125 million dollar contract.

Josh Hamilton who spent his last 5 years manning center field for division rival Texas Rangers will now join an already potent Angels offensive lineup that includes first-ballot Hall of Famer Albert Pujols and 2012 Rookie of the Year and AL MVP Runner-up Mike Trout.

With all the moves the Dodgers have made and now with this move by the Angels, Opening Day can’t come soon enough.

Opening Day for the Angels is April 1st in Cincinnati when they battle the Reds while the Dodgers open on April 1st at home versus the defending World Series Champion San Francisco Giants.
