Continuing a tradition that has been going strong for more than 20 years, the Allman Brothers Band will make a home at New York City’s Beacon Theatre for their annual residency. The Macon, Georgia-based Rock and Roll Hall Of Famers will play ten shows over the course of 16 days starting on March 1st.

The Allman Brothers Band began their multi-night performances at the Beacon Theatre in 1989, only missing the yearly residency once and having it moved to other NYC venues just a handful of times. During the residency’s run, fans have sold out the venue more than 200 times. Over the years, the band has welcomed many big names to sit in during their shows, including Eric Clapton, Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Billy Gibbons, Buddy Guy and many others.

Additionally, the Allman Brothers Band will be back in New York City nearly a month after their residency at the Beacon, accepting an invitation to perform one of two nights during Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Benefit at Madison Square Garden on April 12th and 13th.

Tickets for the Allman Brothers Residency at the Beacon Theatre go on sale to the public Friday, January 11 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased through the Beacon Theater’s site or Ticketmaster.
