“Here, if you have a milkshake, and I have a milkshake, and I have a straw. There it is, that’s a straw, you see? You watching?. And my straw reaches acroooooooss the room, and starts to drink your milkshake… I… drink… your… milkshake!”–There Will Be Blood
Except this time around, it would actually be a bad thing to drink the milkshake in question. Apparently, two Northern California teen girls brought their milkshake to the yard…and then drugged one girl’s parents with it. Why? So they could use the internet after 10pm.
Don’t believe in internet addiction? Our youth is a prime example.
The 15-16-year-old girls allegedly crushed prescription sleeping pills and put them in the parent’s milkshakes that they had purchased from a fast food restaurant.
A local area police lieutenant, Lon Milka, said the parents woke up feeling “really groggy” and “hungover” even though they hadn’t been drinking so they got a drug testing kit from the police station. The tests picked up trace levels of drugs and the culprit was discovered to be their daughter.
“Mom and Dad had the Internet cut off nightly at 10 p.m.,” Milka said. “The daughter wanted to use it past 10 because I guess they’re like most teenagers and the Internet is their life.”
Booked on suspicion of conspiracy and adding pharmaceutical into food, these girls will probably be bringing their milkshake to a completely different yard.
The prison yard.
