Today (January 8th) marks the day that The King, also known as Elvis Presley was born. As he was famous for many things, among them was his unique taste in food. The legend ate things that some would not look twice at, let alone drool over.

A Southern momma’s boy from Memphis sure enough had taste that would make pelvis-thrusting difficult for most. Even the hunka burnin’ love himself had some guilty pleasures like the rest of us.

Peanut butter, bananas, white bread and a deep fryer make up what Elvis most liked to consume for hunger. Your dog would have a field day with this one.

Peanut butter and jelly is loved by many, but didn’t quite make the cut for the King. Elvis twisted his peanut butter all sorts of ways, and added bacon to the mixture at times.

Subtle and delicate, yet tart and sweet at the same time. Likely similar to the way Elvis liked his women. Hopefully he didn’t eat one of these after eating the previous Elvis favorites.

This milkshake is like tasting of heaven and hell all at once. Heaven because of the taste, Hell because it’s what you will go through trying to shake this shake off of your body weight.

One thing we’ve most definitely learned about Elvis…the man loved nanners.
