Ok so Colin Kapernick and the 49ers prevented me from getting to that hallowed ground of 4 for 4 but daaaaaaaaang. 3-1 with two money line wins has me, (and your wallet if you aren’t a Nancy) walking on sunshine. Was it dumb cracker luck or do I ACTUALLY know what I am doing? Hell, honestly I don’t even know but it’s fun ain’t it? Let’s see if the Cranfill magic continues for Conference Championship Sunday or will the sun finally set on this hubristic dynasty?

San Francisco 49ers (-4) vs Atlanta Falcons- Sun. Jan.20th- NOON on FOX

So far coach Jim Harbaugh and the 49ers have been a step ahead of the competition since putting Colin Kapernick in at quarterback. But now they’re going to Atlanta. Where if my A Different World memory serves, stepping is an art form. GO HILLMAN!!! Problem is, finely choreographed step routines might help Hillman best Norton in a step-off, it doesn’t do much in the way of running down opposing quarterbacks with 4.5 speed. I’m taking the 9ers to win and cover, final score, 31-17.

Baltimore Ravens vs New England Patriots (-8)- Sun. Jan.20th- 3:30pm on CBS

O Ray Lewis. Thank you oh great one. Last weeks Ravens vs Broncos clash was one for the ages. Other than the Breaking Bad mid-season finale, that was the best drama I’ve seen in the last calendar year. It was Rocky IV. Problem is, Rocky got 5 years in between Drago and Tommy Gunn, the Ravens get a mere 6 days before traveling to Foxboro to square off against the Patriots. That’s an awful lot to ask of a champion. I think the Ravens take this fight to the 12th but when it goes to the cards you’re going to get a Patriots split decision, 28-27. Ravens cover, and lose and we’ll salute one of the greatest as he rides off into the sunset. Thanks for everything #52. You were the best that ever did it.
