The Super Bowl is set. The Baltimore Ravens emerged victorious over the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship game, while the San Francisco 49ers, after besting the Atlanta Falcons, will represent the NFC.
And who predicted all of the outcomes correctly? If you said Dr. Cranfill, you’d be wrong. While the good doctor did go 3 out of 4 in the semi-finals, and 1 out 2 on Sunday, there’s one sports expert who leaves him in the dust. That would be Princess, a 26-year old Bactrian camel, who resides in at the Popcorn Park Zoo in Lacey Township, N.J.
According to Yahoo.com, Princess has allegedly picked the winner of the Super Bowl correctly 6 times over the last 7 years. Her method is impeccable, as zoo General Manager Joe Bergmann explains:
She loves graham crackers. In one palm we write down with one of these magic markers the 49ers, and on the other, the Ravens. We cover them with graham cracker so she can’t see. Whichever she chooses to eat first is her pick.
So who did nostra-camel pick this year? Drum roll please…
Princess has chosen the Ravens to win it all. And there you have it. May as well give Ray Lewis his ring now.
