It ain’t no thang, but a chicken wang.
Apparently this statement is true for two Georgia men who somehow pulled off stealing $65,000 worth of them. Talk about getting caught “red-handed.”
These two chicken wing fiends worked at a cold storage business, which is where the chicken wings came into the picture. Last Wednesday, according to CBS Atlanta, 35-year-old Dewayne Patterson and 26-year-old Renaldo Jackson were arrested and charged with theft.
A rental truck reportedly pulled up to the door of Nordic Cold Storage in Doraville, north of Atlanta and was piled with 10 bags of Tyson frozen chicken wings. With each bag of chicken wings weighing in at five pounds, around 26,000 pounds were reported stolen from the fried chicken haven.
What a scheme these two pulled off “sticky fingers” style. Just in time for the Super Bowl, and more importantly…The Puppy Bowl!
