You know what’s awesome? Doing what you wanna do. You know what sucks? Rules. You know what makes rules awesome though? Breaking them. If it’s not gonna hurt anyone else, then why not.

Well, like this South African skater 24-year-old Decio Lourenco learned the hard way: if you race through traffic at 68 mph you could get arrested!

We guess that could potentially hurt someone else, so bad boy Lourenco. Go to your room.

The speed limit where Lourenco was skating was 37 mph (weird number),

“All that was needed was for one of those motorists to panic and swerve into the oncoming traffic and you have a large number of deaths, as we have already had on that road,” said safety spokesman Jean-Pierre Smith. “If we don’t take action against him, every other aspirant skateboarder will try it and one of them will come to a sticky end.”

Lourenco doesn’t really understand why he’s getting flack now considering he’s been doing this for years.

“This is the first time I’ve gotten any attention for it.”
