Many questions, the clerk behind the counter has, about what the heck the guy in a Sith mask (which to us looks like Darth Maul) is doing. Desperate for money, he must be, to turn to the dark side.
Yikes, enough with the convoluted Yoda Speak; it only makes life—and writing articles–difficult. But seriously, between bursts of laughter, what do you think was running through the cashier’s head as he was being robbed by a guy wearing a Star Wars mask?
“Is that a lightsaber in your pocket or are you just…” Never mind.
Perhaps inspired by Disney’s recent acquisition of Lucasfilm and the subsequent announcement of future Star Wars movies, a San Diego area man donned a Sith mask early Monday morning and held up three 7-Eleven stores over a two hour period, reports the Huffington Post.
The Dark Side Robber, as we at JACK FM have just named him, used a semi-automatic handgun, as opposed to a lightsaber, to rob the stores. He made off with some cash before fleeing on foot.
Police are still looking for the suspect, although he might be difficult to find, being that he’s using The Force in all.
“I am not the masked robber you are looking for. Move Along!”
