52-year-0ld rock and reality star Vince Neil was hospitalized during a Sydney, Australia Motley Crue show, effectively cutting the show short when he complained of “severe pain” from kidney stones.

The band played four songs, but the man whom band manager Allen Kovac labeled a “warrior” who has played through a plethora of injuries, was taken straight to hospital.

According to an interview with CNN, Kovac says the band has never canceled a show in twenty years.

Guitarist Nikki Sixx wrote on his Facebook page that while he’s seen Vinnie  “go onstage with broken bones, his voice completely blown out and torn ligaments…he never ever cancels.”

“Just like an athlete you sometimes have to play through the pain, but last night it became to excruciating,” Sixx continued, saying that the doctors said everything went well in the operating room for Neil.

Besides touring with Crue and KISS, Neil’s latest business venture includes opening up rock ‘n roll strip joint Deja Vu Presents: Vince Neil’s Girls Girls Girls in Las Vegas, Nevada.
