Metro Running Free Shuttles During L.A. Marathon

While most of us will be puking up green beer throughout the day on March 17th and trying not to see double rainbows (unless they lead to pots of gold!), the warriors of our species will be running 26 freaking miles from around dawn to dusk, starting from Dodger Stadium and ending near the Santa Monica Pier.

Bus lines and trains will be running more efficiently with added trains, but in support of the runners Metro will be operating a totally free non-stop shuttle from Culver City to Santa Monica for the last portion of the race.

Because of the blockage of streets, some of the bus lines will be detoured. According to the Hollywood Patch, those lines include the 2, 4, 10, 14, 16, 20, 26, 28, 30, 33, 40, 45, 48, 55, 60, 68, 70/71, 76, 78/79, 81, 83, 84, 90, 92, 94, 96, 105, 156, 180/181, 200, 201, 204, 206, 207, 210, 212, 217, 222, 445, 485, 487, 534, 550, 704, 720, 733, 745, 754, 757, 780, 794.
