Wrestling Has A New Real American Hero, Who’s Actually More Like A Superhero
It’s true, there really is a new “Real American Hero,” and it ain’t Hulk Hogan. Blasphemy you say? Wait until you read what former WWE wrestler Chris “The Masterpiece” Masters did.
Where do we start with this one? Times had been tough recently for Masters. In 2011 he was cut from the WWE and was relegated to the relative obscurity.
And then someone messed with his mother.
Masters’ received a phone call saying his mother’s neighbor had gone off the deep end and barricaded himself in her home, according to TMZ. When Masters arrived, the neighbor threatened to burn the house down.
Fearing for his mother’s safety, Master’s called the police. But when officers arrived, the neighbor followed through on his threat and set the home ablaze.
That’s when Masters went into full Badass mode. He rushed towards house, ripped a tree out of the ground with his bare hands, flung it through the window like a battering ram, reached in and pulled his mother from the flames.
If that doesn’t make you a hero, nothing will. Now if Masters could only save his wrestling career…
