Get off the internet and go do something rad like a 19-year-old college student from Petaluma who dresses up like Batman and rides around Petaluma, California on a motor scooter doing good deeds.
While being a delusional Batman character has had tragic consequences, this young Batman, identity still secret, is just a nice guy who has done stuff like help look for a former classmate through grassroots groundwork.
“When I’m not in my Petaluma Batman costume, I hear people talking about me a lot,” said the teenager. “It’s weird, but I’m glad that I have been able to entertain people and lift their spirits. I just want to inspire some good will.”
“There’s this motto, ‘a hero can be anyone,’ and it’s kind of really taken ahold of in the newest Batman movies,” said the young man to ABC News (via Huffington Post.) “I thought, ‘Well, that’s kind of neat.'”
