When you go on trips do you ever find yourself totally stressed out and missing your furry friend? Well, there’s an app for that if you’re flying from Los Angeles International Airport! Umm, and by APP, we mean AirPort Pet.
Starting today, LAX will be letting therapy dogs led by volunteers roam around the airport for anxious people to pet.
In a report by LAist, the Director of Volunteers at LAX, Heidi Huebner says that the destressing abilities of these dogs will change how people act–even to each other.
“When you walk in with the dogs, you feel the stress level drop immediately. People start smiling, people start talking to each other, they’re taking pictures, they’re hugging the dogs.”
