Aerosmith cancelled their show next week in Indonesia over fears that it would be explosive–and not in the good way.
The band was scheduled to perform on May 11th to an almost sold-out Jakarta venue that could house upwards of 15,000 people, but canceled due to a reported bomb plot by two militants against the Myanmar Embassy.
Aerosmith’s management apologized to fans via Ismaya Live, the website for the Indonesian concert promoter:
“Unfortunately, we have to cancel our upcoming show in Jakarta. We want to apologize to all our fans who were expecting to see us and hope that one day we can make it up to them.
We would also like to thank everyone at Dyandra Entertainment, Ismaya Live and Sound Rhythm for the time and effort they put into the pre-production of this show.”
