Yoko Ono gets a lot of crap for her relationship with John Lennon and her “reign” over the Beatles, but the business-minded artist has done a good job maintaining the integrity of Lennon’s name.
Her most recent endeavor has been to create the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus, which was unveiled in Liverpool.
The bus will house a recording studio that give young musicians access to multimedia formats to create their own art and will hold workshops throughout Europe.
“Music is so important for everybody on this planet, I think it is the one thing that is keeping me young,” said Ono. “Whenever I hear a drum beat my body starts to move, there’s nothing I can do about it.”
In recent Beatles news, the Let It Be musical is coming to Broadway.
