Black Sabbath Appearing On CSI Finale This Wednesday On CBS
Shows like Crime Scene Investigation or CSI already make us feel a little “paranoid.” So, violence-laden episodes aren’t completely realistic in the way the drama plays out, but the crimes? Totally possible. Totally awesome.
Having iconic rock band, Black Sabbath, star in the finale just ups the creepy/amazing quality of the show. The oft-times black-clad band won’t be acting per se, just pretending to play a Black Sabbath show which will be attended by character D.B. Russell a/k/a Ted Danson who says its his first Black Sabbath concert.
Frontman Ozzy Osbourne is quick to clarify that he’s not “an actor. ”
“When you see it on TV it’s all done, but when you’re filming there’s a lot of stuff going on,” said Osbourne, who has recently been battling addiction problems. “It’s been a long time but the wait has been well worth it and I’m really pleased with the outcome. It’s good fun and it’s a good way of telling people that we’re back together, you know?”
“I’ve watched every episode since it started, ’cause I like crime stuff, and it was realistic,” says bassist Geezer Butler.
Watch Black Sabbath on CSI this Wednesday on May15th at 10pm ET/PT on CBS.
