How dare you San Francisco. HOW DARE YOU. The forward-thinking, possibly greatest restaurant in existence, Bacon Bacon, is closing its doors. Why? Because residents surrounding the establishment complained about the smell.

You read that right, they actually complained about the aroma of sweet, sweet bacon wafting through the air. Who does that?

Just so we’re clear, Bacon Bacon is a restaurant that specializes in bacon recipes, primarily sandwiches. Heck, they even have a sandwich called “The Almost Veggie Breakfast Sandwich.” This restaurant may represent the ultimate in human dining.

So of course, San Francisco being San Francisco, they had to go ruin it.

Since its opening, residents have complained about the “porcine aroma and grease disposal.” The Department of Public Health has given the new owners of Bacon Bacon several months to comply, but reportedly the owners have failed address issues, according to the San Francisco Examiner.

There’s also something about not having the right permits, blah blah blah. WE DON’T CARE. YOU DON’T EVER COMPLAIN ABOUT THE SMELL OF BACON. EVER. YOUR HEAR US ‘FRISCO?

It’s time for a Jack FM road trip to set things right.
