Peter Hook To Perform New Order Songs Sans New Order

New Order just created waves of nostalgia at Coachella and although they weren’t new (see what we did there?), ex-bassist Peter Hook was nowhere to be found.

Although after his bitter acknowledgement of the band in an interview where he said he’s “determined to f**k New Order over in any possible way,” maybe he was behind the stage with a voodoo doll.

Better yet, the aging British musician has decided to play New Order’s first two albums on his upcoming North American tour with his band The Light.  1981’s Movement and 1983’s Power, Corruption & Lies were two of New Order’s most popular albums.

If you’d like to witness Peter Hook’s shenanigans, he’s playing at show on September 21st at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles.
