Obama Traffic In Los Angeles This Friday
President Obama will be making a fundraising pit stop in Los Angeles this Friday. As per usual, his endeavors will be on the Westside of Los Angeles, probably because it’s the area where all his richest supporters live.
So how can you avoid all the presidential hullabaloo? Get a heads up on President Obama’s schedule.
He flies into LAX around 10:35, goes to a luncheon in Santa Monica, and flies back out (to Palm Springs) at 2:05pm. Damn, President Obama doesn’t mess around. He’ll be chilling with Mayor Villaraigosa a few days this weekend in Rancho Mirage to discuss stuff and things.
To aid our Commander-In-Chief’s schedule, his posse has taken command of the streets. Thanks to the magic of LAist, here are the streets he’ll be on (and the times to avoid them):
Centinela Avenue and West Olympic Boulevard, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
West Olympic Boulevard and Cloverfield Boulevard from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
26th Street and San Vicente Boulevard in the Brentwood Park area, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
