David Bowie & Freddie Mercury Do Amazing Acapella Version Of “Under Pressure”

Someone we shall bow down to unearthed isolated acoustic vocals from 1981 hit “Under Pressure” featuring the musical genius of Queen, Freddie Mercury, and David Bowie.

Singing acapella while listening to the music in headphones, the pre-autotune deliciousness is the direct result of actually having massive talent. Mercury and Bowie’s voices sublimely weave in and out of each other in compatible harmonies; the syncopated portions are even more jaw-dropping especially when you hear it without the musical cues that are in their ears.

Apparently, the song was written in a radical cocaine and wine fueled single day frenzy which is both amazing and…ummmm…amazing! Old school rock and roll decadence highlighted by a fierce flair for performance and an undoubted musical faculty is an ideal life.
