Kids These Days: Eyeball Licking Cuz Why Not

We’ve chronicled the dangerous exploits of kids trying to smoke alcohol and snort condoms, but this time around kids are engaging in an age-old weird fetish lovingly called “worming” by those into “oculolinctus,” or eyeball licking.

The girls in the video above are trying to do it as a joke (we think), but around the world fetishists and teenagers with too much time on their hands have taken up this eye-opening hobby.

“My boyfriend started licking my eyeballs years ago and I just loved it. I’m not with him anymore, but I still like to ask guys to lick my eyeballs,” a girl told the Huffington Post. “I just love it because it turns me on, like sucking on my toes. It makes me feel all tingly.”

Except, obviously, there are germs and random nonsense in your mouth and this can lead to things like pink eye or conjunctivis as evidenced when some 12-year-olds in a Japanese classroom presumably came to school with the pink-eye.

“When I looked inside, a male pupil and a female pupil had their faces close together and were kind of fumbling around,” said a teacher to Daily Caller. “Could it be bullying? I wondered, but when I had a good look, the boy was licking the girl’s eye!”

Apparently eyeball licking is considered second base.

“Nothing good can come of this,” said a San Diego based ophthalmologist called Dr. David Granet to  HuffPost. “There are ridges on the tongue that can cause a corneal abrasion. And if a person hasn’t washed out their mouth, they might put acid from citrus products or spices into the eye.”

And the aforementioned eyeball licking reciprocate mentioned at the beginning of the story? “I got some weird offshoot of TB in my eye once. I ended up with corneal ulcers and I spent like a month in the hospital. Nobody really knows why. Well, I got over it, and I’m fine now. That was like six years ago.

“I’m just safer now, I guess … Live and learn. I mean they don’t really make tongue rubbers, but maybe they should.”

Yeah, because that’s TOTALLY the solution.
