A few months ago, Metallica appeared at the Revolver Golden Gods Awards at Club Nokia in Los Angeles. While many were able to watch them onstage via the wonder of the internet, Metallica recently posted a video of them soundchecking and rehearsing songs like “Rapid Fire” and “Disposable Heroes.”
During the awards, Metallica were given the Ronnie James Dio Lifetime Achievement Awards and also played two other songs: “For Who The Bell Tolls” and “Seek and Destroy.”
A few weeks later, the Bay Area-based band played the “Star Spangled Banner” for the San Francisco Giants versus the Los Angeles Dodgers game.
