Kings of Leon will bring in former SNL star Fred Armisen to direct their webcast from Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London.

The live-streamed performance is the latest offering in the American Express: Unstaged concert series reports Rolling Stone. The most recent pairing for the web-series included a concert from Vampire Weekend directed by Steve Buscemi.

Armisen, who made headlines in early July after announcing he’d be ending his 11-year run on Saturday Night Live, is also a musician himself having played drums in for various punk bands as well as the Blue Man Group. Surprising fans at Vampire Weekend’s Unstaged concert, Armisen opened the concert as his punk alter-ego, Ian Rubbish.

The Kings of Leon concert will be streamed live August 9 via YouTube and Vevo with set times to be announced.

On July 17, the band released “Supersoaker,” the first single from their upcoming album Mechanical Bull set to hit stores September 24.
