Leave the drama for your mama, but definitely keep off the streets when President Obama is meandering down them in his presidential fleet. Our commander-in-chief is in Los Angeles today and tomorrow to do some important things (and appear on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno), so LAist made a list of what streets to avoid while the prez is in town. What would we do without them?

Here’s the list:

Tuesday, August 6

Hollywood Way and San Fernando Road from 2:30 pm to 6:30 p.m.
Hollywood Way and Burbank Blvd. from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Hollywood Way and Alameda from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
W. Olive Avenue and Buena Vista from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Sherman Way and Hayvenhurst Avenue from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Victory Blvd. and Canoga Avenue from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Canoga Avenue and Burbank Blvd. from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Wednesday, August 7

Sherman Way and Hayvenhurst Avenue from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Victory Blvd. and Canoga Avenue from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Canoga Avenue and Burbank Blvd. from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

So, basically, stay out of the Valley. Which is a good rule of thumb in general.
