Coolio Willing To Give Up Music Catalog For Cooking Career
hit ’90s rapper, Coolio, is willing to give up his gangsta’s paradise for a slice of a different pie. Literally. After a stint on the British Big Brother and a domestic assault charge last week, the 50-year-old is ready to make a change and become a chef. Hopefully, he wears a hair net.
He’s so into the idea of becoming a chef, Coolio is willing to auction off the rights to his entire music catalog of 123 songs in order to make money to fund his dream.
The music will be up for auction at the Royalty Exchange, includes 19 years worth of music that still makes about $23, 227 in royalties every year. The back catalog is expected to make between $134,000 and $225,000.
Coolio already has a cookbook he put out in 2009 called Cookin’ With Coolio and wants to use the money to create more cookbooks and maybe an online cooking show.
