If you think you’re weird, you probably are, but this guy is infinitely weirder. Michael Zuk, a dentist who purchased John Lennon’s tooth at an auction in 2011, claims that with this biological piece of history, he’s cloned the late Beatle. Nevermind that no one’s been able to clone dinosaurs yet with millions of bones and teeth laying around which we think is bullshit.

After paying $32,000, Zuk said he was just gonna worship the tooth or something at his dentist practice, but he’s now making claims that he’s extracted DNA from the tooth.

“I am nervous and excited at the possibility that we will be able to fully sequence John Lennon’s DNA – very soon, I hope,” said Zuk. “With researchers working on ways to clone mammoths, the same technology certainly could make human cloning a reality. To potentially say I had a small part in bringing back one of rock’s greatest stars would be mind-blowing.” Check out his wacky tooth adventure at JohnLennonTooth.com.

We wonder if Yoko Ono will claim the rights to John Lennon’s DNA now, too?
