The Clash might not be technically reuniting, but they are releasing three new album sets and have been making the interview rounds. The surviving members decided to get with the times and host a Twitter chat on September 10 as part of their press campaign for those albums.
Mick Jones, Paul Simonon, and Topper Headon will be answering questions on Tuesday, September 10 at 4:30pm UK Time which is like 8:30am PT.
In order to chat with them, go to the Amazon Music UK Twitter page here and hashtag your question with #askclash.
Without frontman Joe Strummer, The Clash told The Telegraph that what they are doing now is as close as they can get being The Clash again without reforming.
“It was just an opportunity to do something now,” said Jones about the new music, “to represent the music. I like the idea of the ideas carrying on somehow – like Che Guevara’s. It’s also a restoration, because the tapes would’ve rotted soon.”
