5 Superstitious Songs For Friday The 13th

Don’t break a mirror, walk under a ladder, or let a black cat cross your path. If you are at all superstitious, all these things are supposed to freak you out on Friday the 13th. But, if you really don’t care, it’s just a great day to think about all the creepy things out there, because as the internet says: creepers love to creep.

A lot of musicians have written awesome songs about being superstitious, having bad luck, or about the dreaded number 13 itself. As a culture, we’re still obsessed with it. Black Sabbath‘s platinum record, 13, is currently blowing up. No one can escape the morbid allure of 13.

Here are five songs that should make your Friday the 13th playlist. And, oh, remember to hold your breath while you are driving past a cemetery.

The Cure-“The 13th”

Europe-“Superstitious”

Megadeath-“I Ain’t Superstitious”

Steely Down-“Black Friday”

Social Distortion-“Bad Luck”
