If you’ve been waiting for a new Slash song, specifically one made for a horror movie from his brand new production company, Slasher Films, you’re in luck. Also, you have impossible demands and someone needs to regulate your expectations, but you got lucky this time. Good for you.
The Guns N Roses guitarist performed an acoustic movie from the title track from his horror movie of the same name, Nothing Left To Fear. The movie comes out on Friday, October 4, with a subsequent soundtrack release. The movie stars Anne Heche and James Tupper and Slash explained that he’s been a “longtime fan of the horror genre.”
“I want to produce films that are in an older tradition – films that leave more to one’s imagination. What scares you is more cerebral than superficial. Nothing Left To Fear is the first film, with more to come.”
Listen above and see if the song is frighteningly good–or just frightening.
