The versatility of marijuana. Hemp can be used as a fabric. Marijuana itself has been shown to have medicinal properties. You can smoke or eat it. It makes you hungry, and typically makes music sound 10,000 times better.

And just when you thought you’ve run out of ways to get your daily dosage of THC, HighTimes.com reports that Cannabis Biotech finally remembered to issue their press release about “a transmucosal method for delivering cannabis into the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity.” In other words, a marijuana nasal spray, which means you won’t need this guy anymore.

By using a nasal spray rather than smoking it, patients can administer their prescribe dosage of marijuana without the risk of exposing themselves to the dangerous carcinogens often associated with smoking. Plus, it has the added bonus of not making your office or home smell like a Christmas tree, which itself could be very helpful.

“Nasal delivery for administration of therapeutic remedies has been used for thousands of years and is very popular today,” Ken Morrow, head of research for Cannabis Biotech, states. “The system offers the potential of appealing to a broader patient base due to being user-friendly, reliable, and fast-acting.”

Would you use a marijuana nasal spray? Let us know what you think.
