With an audience of hardcore fans–and maybe a grip of penguins—one of the hottest metal groups in the world, Metallica, is apparently playing a show in Antarctica–courtesy of Coke Zero.
There’s only been one concert on the continent by some scientists called Nuntak in 2007 and Metallica will be the second every concert on the continent. South American fans will be able to win tickets to see Metallica in Antarctica.
They’ll get to go on a 10-day cruise on December 3rd that hits Antarctica on December 8th where Metallica will play on the Carlini Argentine heliport and the show will reach the ears of the audience via headphones.
What do you think? Would you watch a concert in Antarctica?
