If you’ve been living under a rock in a cave for the last week or so, you may have missed the Chris Christie Fort Lee Traffic Jam Scandal, which has taken briefly taken over some corners of political discussions in America.

What with New Jersey being no stranger to lovable corruption, and what with late-night TV’s propensity to lampoon every scandal, it was really only a matter of time before a Bruce Springsteen parody of Bridge-gate arose.

Jimmy Fallon in his most impeccable ’80s Boss imitation sings the first half of “Governor Chris Christie Fort Lee, New Jersey Traffic Jam” (sung to the tune of “Born To Run”) and is later joined by Bruce himself, which totally definitely absolutely was not planned and happened spontaneously.
