Thirty years ago, Rock ‘N’ Fantasy Camp meant saving up all your allowances to buy a crappy amp and barely-functioning guitar while getting lessons from your older brother’s best friend in you musty garage.

These days, kids and budding rock stars can learn from the greats at the Las Vegas based camp of the same name. Generally, the camp has been led by musical “greats” like Bret Michaels and more, but this year its going totally ’90s grunge. And we’re not talking the soft stuff like Soul Asylum.

We’re talking musicians from some of grunge’s biggest badasses like guest counselors Alice In Chains’ Jerry Cantrell, Stone Temple Pilots’ Dean DeLeo, and Jane’s Addiction’s Stephen Perkins. Kids will learn how to play songs by bands like Nirvana (easy, isn’t everyone first song they learn “Smells Like Teen Spirit” or “Come As You Are?”) or Pearl Jam.
