Report: 40 Percent Of LA Food Trucks Never Inspected

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Only about 60 percent of Los Angeles’ more than 3,200 food trucks have been inspected for health code violations, according to a new LA Times report.

The County Department of Environmental Health is supposed to inspect and grade every food truck twice a year, however, the report found 40 percent have never even been checked.

The remainder of the trucks are only inspected once a year, the report said.
