Meanwhile In Southern California: Del Taco Customers Charged Thousands For Small Orders
By Nadia Noir
Part of the allure of Del Taco are the rock-bottom prices that call to late night stoners and boozehounds from every corner of Southern California.
So, when about 150 Del Taco customers looking to spend their laundry change on something that would turn their blood toxicity level around were charged extra at a Venutra County Del Taco, El Schorcho sauces were quickly hidden away before someone started using them as a very spicy weapon. (Have you ever squirted that stuff in your eye accidentally? It’s the worst.)
According to LAist, the store accidentally charged customers thousands of dollars extra for small orders. On man named Michael Cole tried to take $20 out of the bank and discovered he’d been charged a whopping $4,050 for a CrunchTada pizza and two beef tacos.
Of course, everyone will be refunded for the supposed “computer glitch,” but for a few hours they can brag about they had the world’s most expensive Del Taco meal ever.
