If you’re doing it all for the nookie then you are in the wrong place. But Fred Durst isn’t. The nu-metal musician, popularized and criticized mostly in the ’90s and early aughts for Limp Bizkit, just finished directing a commercial for the very marriage-oriented dating site, eHarmony.
The concept of eHarmony is that you take a bunch of quizzes or whatever to see how compatible someone is with your core values and then they match you with them. None of that opposites attract passion that usually ends up becoming true and passionate (if crazy) love in the long run. No, just straight up arranged marriage kind of vibes.
The 43-year-old Limp Bizkit frontman was caught posing with eHarmony’s CEP and face, Dr. Neil Clark.
Having Fred Durst direct an eHarmony ad seems so off-base for their brand that maybe the company is trying to reinvent themselves?
