Check out which rock ’n’ roll legends are touring through California this summer!
School’s out for the summer and Cooper is swapping his kid’s school bus for a tour bus. When not touring the country with his family by his side, Cooper retires to Paradise Valley where his wife and kids host dinner functions for their community, their church, and many other charitable occasions.
Cooper was happy to transform his bachelor pad into a home that can help and feed the needy, qualities he hopes to pass on to his kids.

Even today, Graffin is hard at work setting a great example for his two kids. In addition to being the frontman of Bad Religion, Graffin is also a college professor and an author.
He is interested in showing his kids that an education is never finished and the pursuit of wisdom is eternal.
A firm believer in positive influence, Graffin is quoted as saying, “If we influence people in a positive way… others will want to emulate us and pass on our ideas, manners, and lifestyle to future generations.”
Preach it, Pops.

“For me, my idea is heaven is in your daughter’s laughter; hell could be if your child is missing for three minutes — you’re in three minutes of hell.” Jay Z may be a new father, but he is already sounding like an old soul.
He doesn’t even say “bitch” anymore!
As a child abandoned by his own father at a young age, Jay Z has made it his mission to be the best Dad he can be for his beautiful daughter and his gorgeous wife, Beyoncé.

Jack Black – Tenacious D
If there’s one thing Jack Black knows well, it’s that the show must go on. And so it was decided many moons ago that his two sons were destined to be singers, dancers, and aspiring rock musicians.
But even though Black’s adorable little demon-spawn are following in his footsteps, he still finds ways to balance the fun of rock ’n’ roll lifestyle with the harsh reality of Dad’s boundaries — “Stop singing Led Zeppelin, it’s one in the morning!”
Check out Tenacious D’s California tour dates:
Sat 10/25/14: Los Angeles, CA Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena
Perhaps you’ve seen Simmons’ family jewels on television. His kids don’t seem to mind. After all, before Simmons persuaded his family to tour the reality television circuit, his son Nick and his daughter Sophie joined KISS on their tour bus nearly every summer.
Probably one of the few cases where a kid could brag about his Dad’s makeup collection.

Despite having three different daughters with three different mothers, Steven Tyler still manages to be a standup father figure on and off the stage. In fact, he finds pride in having a rather “extended” family. The more the merrier!
It really doesn’t matter whether he’s belting his rock anthems in front a crowd, or nurturing young, new musicians on American Idol, Tyler is happy father who is full of sweet emotion.

These days, Dave Matthews is more concerned with his twin’s homework than he is with his encores. Celebrating his 25th year touring, he is very open about his journey into fatherhood and choosing the right city to settle down with his family.
Personally, he enjoys playing the song “Drunken Soldier” live as he imagines he is the father telling his children, “…be yourself and be true to what you believe. And be kind in a world that isn’t necessarily that kind.”

It’s the circle of life! When Elton John and partner David Furnish talked about adopting their first son, John needed to take a moment to stop and reflect over his past bouts of selfishness, backstage behavior, and mortality.
He credits being a father to changing his life for the better, claiming that having kids was the best thing that’s happened in his life.
