ATLANTA (CBS Atlanta) – According to a recent study, both men and women are more likely to be attracted to larger people when they go out on an empty stomach.
Researchers found that men will choose more voluptuous women if they miss a meal; while women will choose larger, heavier men.
Psychologist Dr. Viren Swami of Westminster University in London showed over 250 men cartoons of women. The men were then asked to rate the pictures by attractiveness. Swami concluded that men who were hungry selected larger women with bigger breast more attractive.
Older studies have been shown to draw the same conclusion.
“Hunger can change your perception of who is attractive,” Swami said at the Cheltenham Science Festival. “If a man is hungry they prefer slightly larger breast size in women.”
