Watch LA Kings Hockey Fans Destroy Anonymous Drone During Stanley Cup Celebration

Drones. People like to pretend they don’t exist and the government loves that. But a tiny drone appeared very low to the audience at the L.A. Kings’ championship celebration on Friday and drunken partiers decided they’ve had enough of some anonymous creep spying on their fun.
During the celebration outside the Staples Center on Friday night, the hovering drone was hit with plastic bottles and other items (including an L.A. Kings t-shirt) until it was knocked to its untimely drone death. All the fan on drone violence destroyed the drone completely.
The LAPD’s Lorenzo Quezada told LAist that this is probably because a skateboarder beat it up with his deck.
Quezada also claims that the device does not belong to the LAPD and that it’s tiny size means it probably belongs to a “hobbyist” who put their own camera on the device.
“It’s definitely not ours,” Quezada told LAist. “It was one of those toy drones, not a high-quality one. This is for recreational use, one kids would fool around with at a park.”
No hobbyist or alien or government official has come in to claim their destroyed “toy.”
