CBS Earns 47 Primetime Emmy Awards Nominations

NORTH HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — The 66th Primetime Emmy Awards nominations were announced early Thursday morning with CBS earning 47 noms.

Carson Daly and Mindy Kaling joined Television Academy CEO Bruce Rosenblum for the honors.

HBO’s “Game of Thrones” led the pack with 19 bids, including best drama series.

“Breaking Bad” followed with 16 noms for its final season.

The 66th Primetime Emmy Awards will be presented Aug. 25 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, hosted by Seth Meyers and airing live on NBC.
