While we all say ciao to our sugar-fueled chow down on Crumbs cupcakes (RIP), a desert much dreamed about (and fetishized) in the ’90s is back–the pizza cookie. And it’s available to drown your Monday workday sorrows in right now.
Pizza Hut is unveiling what is essentially an 8-inch monster-sized cookie on July 16th with 10 percent of that day’s proceeds going to the World Food Programme at their “Ultimate Bake Sale.” These charitable pizza cookies feature Hershey’s chocolate chips and is the second Hershey’s collab that Pizza Hut has been a part of; the first was their Chocolate Dunkers.
A few other pizza companies like Dominos, California Pizza Kitchen, and Papa John’s have tried their hand at the pizza cookie before, but have had a salty experience churning out the sweets.

But according to a Pizza Hut survey of 1,000 people most people eat dessert after pizza–and most people want cookies. And for Southern California residents, we all know the late-night allure of a warm BJ’s Famous Pizookie covered in vanilla ice cream. Hopefully, Pizza Hut’s pizza cookie will be just as delicious, delivered straight to your door, and ready for immediate consumption.
