A documentary film of the exhibition will be screened in 100 theaters across America starting on Sept. 23. The exhibit itself will travel to Chicago and open in the city’s Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) that day. It will stay there until Jan. 4, 2015.

The documentary was filmed closing night of the V&A exhibition in London and directed by Done & Dusted’s Hamish Hamilton, the man behind the opening ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games. It features interviews with Japanese fashion designer Kansai Yamamoto, Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker and the exhibit’s curators, among others.
