Morrissey Announces First ‘World Peace is None of Your Business’ Concert, Rails Against Label, TV
Morrissey – friend to the animals, foe to carnivores, humanitarian, and the ever-opinionated artist – is ranting again, this time for the benefit of promoting his new World Peace is None of Your Business concert this October in Portugal.
On fan site True to You, the former Smiths singer took to posting about his live return – after canceling the remainder of his last tour – and in the process shared his thoughts on how meat consumption is climate change and the missing Malaysian airlines flight (which are apparently linked in his mind), Tony Blair and George W. Bush’s war crimes against Iraq, the corruption behind Fox News, BBC, and the pop charts, where the No. 1 slot is “bought.”
Moz also kindly thought to remind us that “this is not 1955″ and bemoaned the fact that no TV entities apparently reached out to him to promote his new album.
But no one was more so the subject of his wrath than his label, Harvest Records, who he believes failed to adequately promote his new album World Peace is None of Your Business.
