Another week, another Morrissey controversy.

The outspoken artist has severed ties with his label Harvest Records, days after ranting about them on his fansite True to You.

According to new post on True to You, the separation comes “as directed by label boss Steve Barnett,”, meaning the former Smiths frontman is once again in search of a record label.

The news comes three weeks after the release of Moz’s World Peace Is None Of Your Business, an album which was in part the subject of the blog post.

Morrissey came down on Harvest records for, in his mind, the label’s failure to promote his new album and thanked fans who had uploaded videos of the title track. “Yes, a similar document ought to have been harvested by the record label,” he wrote, “but please understand that the pop or rock industry can be as dedicated to perpetuating public deception as the world of politics itself. God bless social media!”
