It’s raining, it’s pouring. The old man is getting wasted cuz, hey, it’s the holidays and that is what old men do. But if you’re planning to get drunk this weekend–beware.
The Los Angeles Police Department is on the hunt for drunk drivers. Get a designated driver (even Santa has Rudolph) or a taxi and have them soberly steer clear of these areas.

–Friday from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m.: saturation patrol in Westlake, downtown, Echo Park, Boyle Heights, Highland Park, Eagle Rock and more.
–Friday from 8 p.m.: DUI checkpoint on Western Avenue and Eighth Street in Koreatown.
–Friday from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. : DUI checkpoint at Ventura Boulevard and Columbus Avenue in Sherman Oaks.
–Friday from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m.: a saturation patrol in LAPD’s Mission Division area of the Valley.
–Friday from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m: DUI checkpoint somewhere within the city of Bellflower.
–Saturday from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.: DUI checkpoint at Sunset Boulevard and Genesee Avenue in Hollywood
–Saturday from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m.: DUI saturation patrol in the 77th Street Division area of South L.A.
–Sunday from 7 p.m. to midnight: La Brea Avenue and Coliseum Street in South L.A.
–Sunday from noon to 8 p.m: saturation patrol in LAPD’s Harbor Division area, which includes San Pedro, Wilmington and parts of Harbor Gateway.
