Here’s the story from A to Z: Geri Horner (née Halliwell) told the BBC’s Chris Evans Breakfast Show that a Spice Girls reunion is likely in 2016—minus Posh. Victoria Beckham, whose hands are full with a successful fashion house, will reportedly decline to join Scary, Baby, Ginger and Sporty on an anniversary tour.
“We haven’t got anything definite, concrete,” said Horner, promoting her appearance on The Great British Bake-Off. “When it’s definite, we’ll announce it together. And it will be the four of us—or we could ask Adele instead.”
July will mark the 20th anniversary of the group’s debut on the international stage. In 2007 and 2012, all five ladies reunited for a global tour and performance at the London Olympics, respectively.
Noted Spice Girl superfan Adele recently had a girl power moment of her own on James Corden’s “Carpool Karaoke” segment. If she wants the gig, sounds like it’s hers.
